The tenth week of the official coding period at Google Summer of Code has concluded successfully. This week, I focused on testing the frontend, adding guidelines to the repository, and setting up my final GSoC report. Here’s a detailed explanation of what I accomplished during this week:
- Adding Contributing Guidelines and Code of Conduct: I added Contributing Guidelines and a Code of Conduct to the CCSync repository. These guidelines are crucial for maintaining a healthy and productive open-source project. They provide clear instructions for new users on how to communicate and interact within the project. By having these guidelines in place, we can ensure that contributions are made in a structured and efficient manner, promoting a welcoming environment for all contributors.
- Setting Up the Final GSoC Report Repository: I also set up a dedicated repository for my final Google Summer of Code report. This repository will serve as a comprehensive document of my journey throughout the GSoC period, detailing: A summary of the project’s goals and objectives. Detailed logs of my weekly accomplishments and challenges. A showcase of the final features and improvements made to the CCSync project. Recommendations for future enhancements and potential areas of improvement.
